Dear L'Aqua and hence Musiq Entertainment DJ client,
Congratulations on your engagement and of course in choosing L'Aqua as the venue for your wedding reception. As you probably have already gathered Musiq Entertainment will be providing you with one of their DJ's for the duration of your wedding reception. We have been working with Dockside Group for over a decade now, providing them with the best packaged DJ service going around.
Firstly we'd like to let you know the most important ingredients in our service to you. We are here to help you have a great time at your reception. Even though you have received your DJ as part of your wedding package we treat every client the same, so you get the same service as any full fee paying customer. Our agenda for your reception is to play exactly the music you have asked for when you have asked for it. We also aim to read your guests minds in terms of their music tastes to play the music that we believe will be most likely to help as many of your guests enjoy the night as possible. We don't have ESP, but we are pretty good at it!
YOUR PACKAGE INCLUSIONS
As part of the package at L'Aqua you not only receive one of our friendly, well dressed and talented DJ's but the following items. A PA system suited to L'Aqua. A wireless microphone for your MC to make any announcements and of course for the speeches on the night. Public liability insurance and our commitment to providing you with the best possible service on and prior to your reception including playing all the songs you have requested.
You also have access to our expert knowledge in everything to do with your wedding entertainment in the lead up to your reception. From choosing songs, to adding extra entertainment and even in suggesting the best order of proceedings for the night.
SOME EXTRA SERVICES YOU MIGHT LIKE TO ADD
We can also help you out with
- MC (Master of Ceremony) services. Some of our DJ's are happy to also act as the MC for the evening. The fee for this is $250 and we recommend that we meet with your prior to your wedding which is included in this fee. If you would prefer to have a separate person act as your MC then we can also help you out in finding one of these. Remember this is only subject to availability as only a few of our DJ's are experienced in MC duties. Contact us ASAP if you are interested.
- We have Greek and Arabic DJs among our ranks. We can book them in for you subject to their availability for your wedding at no extra cost to you. All of our DJ's are happy to play any traditional/cultural music that you are able to suggest or provide.
- A photo booth for your wedding. We offer all dockside group clients 5 hours for the price of 3. PhotoboothME is part of Musiq Entertainment and a recommended supplier for the dockside group.
- A speaker and microphone for your ceremony. We can place a speaker outside on the balcony ($75) which will run from the inside PA system including microphone and have everything set up earlier for you if you require music/microphone for your ceremony ($65 per hour or part thereof)
- Additional AV items such as basic lighting, extra wireless microphone ($75) or a full sound set up for additional performers you may have engaged to perform at your reception.
- Dancers, musicians, bands and singers of all sorts to entertain your guests.
MAKING YOUR REQUESTS
It's now time to introduce you to making your requests for your reception. We have put together in this resource blog a whole wealth of information to help you make your requests, and to provide you with suggestions and advice whenever you need it.
We ask you to make your requests on our wedding request form, and we ask for you to have them filled out and back to us two weeks prior to your wedding.
